AutoContrastCorrectionValue

uEye ActiveX Manual Version 4.00

AutoContrastCorrectionValue

Description

AutoContrastCorrectionValue sets the value for auto contrast correction.

This function allows adjusting the results of the automatic brightness controls. For this purpose, it passes a correction value in the unit EV (exposure value) to the camera. A positive EV makes the images brighter, a negative EV makes them darker. An EV of +/-1.0 means that image brightness is doubled or halved.

The auto contrast correction can have an effect on the exposure time, gain, or both.

Hinweis

The auto contrast correction is currently only supported by the USB uEye XS.

Hinweis

Control properties are only supported for programming in C# and VB.

For programming in C++, use the following functions instead:

DOUBLE GetAutoContrastCorrectionValue()

void SetAutoContrastCorrectionValue(DOUBLE propVal)

Achtung

The auto contrast correction and backlight compensation functions cannot be used simultaneously.
