On this tab, you can set the functionality provided by the USB uEye XS camera model. See also the uEye XS (2) tab.

Image
With these settings, you can configure the image capture parameters for the USB uEye XS.
•Size (Live) / Size (Trigger)
This selection box lists all the image sizes that are supported by the sensor in the current operating mode. Using the AOI, binning/subsampling or scaling functions, the driver sets the selected image format to achieve the best possible image quality.
•Mirror left/right / Mirror up/down
Select this check box to flip the image horizontally/vertically.
•Image stabilization
Enables the camera's electronic image stabilization feature.
•HS mode
Enables the High sensitivity mode.

With these settings, you can configure the face detection feature of the USB uEye XS.
•Search angle
To increase the detection reliability when the camera is turned upright, you can preset a facial orientation angle (search angle). An angle of 0° corresponds to the 12 o'clock position, all other angles apply clockwise.
•Number of faces marked
Here you can select how many of the faces detected should be marked with a border in the camera image. The detected faces are marked with an overlay box. The box marking the largest face detected has a green border, the boxes for the other faces have white borders.
•Max. number of detected faces/Number of detected faces
These fields indicate up to how many faces the current camera model can detect and how many faces have been detected in the current image.
•List of detected faces
This list provides information on the faces detected in the current image. The faces are sorted by size.
oPosture
The face detection feature can distinguish 9 different viewing directions or postures of the head. The detected posture is indicated by a symbol.
oAngle
Orientation of the current face in degrees (0/90/270). An angle of 0° corresponds to the 12 o'clock position, all other angles apply clockwise.
ox/y/height
Position and size of the face.
•Overlay width
Here you can set the line width for the overlay boxes that indicate the detected faces.

With these settings, you can configure the integrated optics of the USB uEye XS.
•Auto focus
Enables the built-in automatic focus.
•Object distance
Displays the object distance to which the focus is set (far/near/macro).
•Read
Reads out the current object distance.
•Manual focus
Manual setting of the focal point.
Default
Click this button to reset all parameters to the model-specific defaults.
