Achtung

Note on power supply

The GigE uEye CP can be supplied with voltage both from an external source and via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). We recommend to not supply the camera through both voltage sources at once over a longer period of time. Otherwise the camera can become very hot.

Achtung

Note on power supply via the I/O connector

Please keep in mind that a voltage drop will occur when you use long cables for power supply to the camera. Choose the size of the cable in such a way that the supply voltage available at the input of the GigE uEye CP is at least 12 V.

Hinweis

Note on power supply via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE)

To supply the GigE uEye CP with power using PoE or PoE+, you can use PoE injectors or switches that are compatible with IEEE standard 802.3af.

For PoE injectors also see the GigE uEye CP accessories chapter.
